Please dress respectfully. "Business casual" attire is perfectly acceptable; there is no need for a jacket and tie, although there will be some. Collared golf shirt and nice pants will be sufficient for the kids as well as nice sneakers in lieu of dress shoes.
A Kippah (yarmulke) that Reuben has picked out for his Bar Mitzvah will be available at the entrance. They may be worn by all – women, men and children of any religion, but it is absolutely not required. A kippah is used as notion of respect by covering one’s head during prayer. These may be kept after the services for those that wish.
Dress comfortably with comfortable shoes and plan to have fun!
